More than 1500 delegates and visitors descended on Westminster on 20-22 October 2009 for the Biometrics 2009 Conference and Exhibition.
In an innovative and forward-thinking programme, more than 50 top international speakers revealed how biometric technology such as fingerprint, facial and iris recognition is being used to identify individuals – from large-scale government projects such as the national ID card scheme, law enforcement and border control to physical and logical access control in the workplace. The programme featured numerous case studies from around the world, reviewed results from the latest trials and tests and explored topical concerns such as identity management and privacy issues. The 3-day conference was supported by a large exhibition with more than 50 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and solutions.
